BILOXI, Miss. (WJTV) – Biloxi police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered inside a home during a welfare check.
The incident occurred at a home in the 100 block of Keesler Circle around 3:00 p.m. on July 19.
Police said the Biloxi Communications Center received a phone call requesting the welfare be checked on a resident living at the location. The caller reported that they did not have any contact with the victim for several days.
Officers said they responded to the home and located a deceased person inside. They said there was evidence that a crime had been committed.
During the investigation, a person of interest was identified. No arrests have been made.
