AMITE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The man accused of killing a 10-year-old boy during a crash in Amite County has been indicted in the case.
According to court documents, Cody Rollinson was indicted on one count of aggravated DUI and one count of felony leaving the scene of an accident. His trial has been scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on September 17, 2025.
Investigator Danny Meaux, with the Amite County Sheriff’s Office, said the incident occurred on Old 24 Compromise Road between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on April 6, 2025.
According to Meaux, the victim, Jordan Hill, was on an ATV when he was hit by a truck. Investigators said Rollinson was arrested the day of the incident.
