JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One person was killed during a crash on Interstate 55 in Jackson.

The crash occurred on I-55 South near Old Byram Road around 1:00 p.m. on July 26.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said one person was killed during a single-vehicle crash. The interim Hinds County coroner identified the victim as Jordan Holt, 24, of Byram.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by JPD’s Accident Investigations Unit.
