JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Police are investigating after shots were fired into multiple homes in South Jackson.

The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of Dorgan Street on August 9. Police said a party had taken place in the 2000 block of Scanlon Drive, and individuals responsible for the shooting had attended the party. Detectives believe the shooting was the result of retaliation for a homicide.
