MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 66-year-old man was killed during a crash in Montgomery County.

The crash occurred on U.S. 82 near the town of Stewart just before 11:00 p.m. on August 13, 2025.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 1999 Dodge pickup truck was traveling west on the highway when it left the road and collided with a ditch.

The driver, who was identified as Charles H. Martin, of Coffeeville, received fatal injuries and died at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
