MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Horn Lake Police Department is investigating a scene and looking for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the chest with scissors at a barbershop on Tuesday.

On Aug. 12, at 6:10 p.m., Horn Lake Police Department officers arrived at Baptist DeSoto Hospital about a victim who had a stab wound to the chest.

The victim told police he was stabbed with a pair of scissors during an argument at a barbershop in the 3000 block of Goodman Road.

Police said the victim was transported to the hospital because of his injuries and is in stable condition.

Officers went to the barbershop to investigate, and they were told several witnesses had left the area after the altercation.

HLPD said that investigators arrived on the scene to gather evidence and to identify those involved, but they are still looking for those witnesses to interview.

According to police, no charges have been filed at this time.
