JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after three people were injured during a shooting.

The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of McDowell Road on August 17, 2025.

According to police, two people were involved in an altercation. One of the men, known by the victim as “Cruz,” shot the victim in the leg.

Police said two other men at the residence received minor injuries. One victim was grazed on the stomach by a round that ricocheted, and the other was grazed by flying concrete.

The victims received non-life-threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.
