JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man, his son and an 18-year-old were arrested in connection to a fatal 2024 shooting in Jackson.
The shooting occurred in the 3100 block of Booker Street on September 15, 2024. Police responded to Highway 80 near State Street, where they found the victim.
Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the victim was identified as Marquiez Scott. He died from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police, Marion Brown, 18, was arrested in connection to the case on July 30, 2025, and charged with murder. He received a $1 million bond.
Cardarow Harden, 33, turned himself in to Jackson police for the charge of murder on August 1, 2025. He received a $1 million bond.
Harden’s 15-year-old son, Cardarow Harden, Jr., was arrested by U.S. Marshals on August 13, 2025, in connection to the case. He was turned over to JPD custody. He received a $250,000 bond.
