Editor’s Note: Dr. Donzell Lee remains the president of Tougaloo College. The following story has been updated.

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Tougaloo College Board of Trustees announced they are seeking nominations and applications for the college’s 15th president.

According to officials, WittKieffer will conduct the presidential search. The college has developed a leadership profile that outlines the qualifications and qualities expected in the successful candidate.

Dr. Donzell Lee is the current president for Tougaloo College. According to officials, Lee will remain in that position until June 2026.

Tougaloo officials said candidate materials should be received by October 10, 2025.
