JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2025 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of this week’s games.

The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 30 on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

No. 21 Ole Miss will face Georgia State at home. Kickoff will be at 6:45 p.m. on the SEC Network.

Mississippi State will face Southern Miss at The Rock in Hattiesburg. Kickoff will be at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN.

Jackson State will face Hampton at home. Kickoff will be 2:00 p.m. on HBCU Go.
