Two teens charged with capital murder in Jackson homicide

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police announced two teenagers were taken into custody in connection to a recent homicide.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said Dequavion Ingram, 18, turned himself in on September 8, 2025. He was charged with capital murder and was denied bond in court.

Brown said Brian Davis, 18, turned himself in on September 9, 2025, and was also charged with capital murder.

Police are still searching for Grayson Jackson, 18, in connection to the shooting death of Reginald Brown.

The shooting occurred in the 5800 block of Ridgewood Road on August 31, 2025.

Camerious Huff was previously arrested and charged with the murder in the case. He was denied bond.
