JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police responded to a shooting Friday night that injured three men during a robbery.

Interim Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the shooting occurred on Magnolia Road near Clinton Boulevard on September 12, 2025.

According to Jones, the three victims were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment. The sheriff said one victim was in critical condition, and two victims were in stable condition.

Police said the suspect is a Black male who was dressed in dark clothing.
