JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating a fatal stabbing.

The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Idaho Street on September 18, 2025.

According to police, the victim, Duane Kyles, died at the scene. Detectives arrested and charged Dequency Jordan, 27, with murder in connection to the stabbing.

Jordan appeared in court on September 19, 2025, and received a $1 million bond.
