HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi man was arrested after he allegedly told authorities he impregnated a 12-year-old.

The Sun Herald reported Kurtis Emmert, 36, went to the Harrison County Jail on September 28, 2025, to report he had impregnated the child.

According to the jail’s website, Emmert was charged with touching a child for lustful purposes. His bond was set at $250,000.

Officials with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is still active and could result in additional charges.
