LELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – The FBI Jackson Field Office released surveillance pictures of the suspects who are wanted in connection to the mass shooting in Leland.
According to authorities, a total of 16 people were shot after Leland High School’s homecoming game. The shooting occurred in the Main Street area of Leland on October 11, 2025.
According to the FBI, investigators believe the shooting occurred due to a disagreement among several individuals. The FBI released the following pictures of the unknown suspects.

According to Washington County Coroner LaQuesha Watkins, four of the victims were identified as Oreshama Johnson, 41; Calvin Plant, 19; Shelbyona Powell, 25; and Kaslyn Johnson, 18.
On October 11, 2025, Watkins said her office received a call from the Hinds County Coroner’s Office that another victim, Amos Brantley, Jr., 18, died from his injuries. Shortly afterwards, the Shelby County Medical Examiner reported that JaMichael Jones, 34, died from his injuries.
Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) will assist Leland police with the investigation. The ATF, FBI and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office are also assisting in the investigation.
