VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – Vicksburg police announced a suspect was arrested for stabbing a man multiple times.

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Washington Street on October 11, 2025, in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived, they said Charles Coleman was injured with multiple wounds.

Police identified the suspect as Jonathan Ramphrey, 36. He was arrested at the scene.

Coleman was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson, where he was treated and later released.

On October 13, 2025, Ramphrey appeared in court, and his bond was set at $50,000.
