JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jeramiah Howard is the unofficial winner of the Hinds County coroner’s race. Howard defeated Stephanie Meachum during the December 2, 2025, special election. Howard has been serving as the interim coroner for Hinds County after former Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart retired in December 2024.
