JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man died after his car caught on fire in Jackson early Friday morning.

Assistant Fire Chief Patrick Armon said the man’s vehicle crashed on Pearl Street at Roach Street in downtown Jackson just after midnight.

The unidentified man died after the vehicle caught on fire. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
