Officials said there was a break in the system, which resulted in a significant drop in water pressure.

Crews are searching for any and all major leaks in the system. There is no timeline of when the issue will be fixed. If anyone is aware of any major leaks, contact 601-684-3497 or 601-684-4000.

Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.

The city will notify neighbors when the issue has been resolved.
