Man found stabbed to death outside Jackson apartment complex

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death outside an apartment complex.

The incident happened at The Advantages Apartments on McWillie Circle around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24.

Police said the 57-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times. The Hinds County coroner identified the victim as Deangelo Henderson.

According to investigators, a silver 2016 Mercedes was missing from the location. The car tag pinged earlier in Clinton. Police said the vehicle was later recovered at the Crown Motel on Boling Street in Jackson.

Deputy Chief Sequerna Banks said the suspect, 31-year-old Quadriana Lyles, was located inside one of the motel rooms. She was arrested and charged with capital murder.
