I-55 Frontage Road blocked after 18-wheeler overturns in Hinds County

HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-wheeler overturned on Interstate 55 in Hinds County early Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash happened just before 3:00 a.m. near I-55 North on the Frontage Road at the 76-mile marker.

Troopers said the I-55 Frontage Road has been blocked. No injuries have been reported.

Drivers are asked to use caution as crews work to clear the roadway. Officials said there is no timeline of when the I-55 Frontage Road will reopen.
