LINCOLN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 24-year-old Tylertown man was killed during a crash in Lincoln County.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash happened on Interstate 55 on Tuesday, January 30 just after 6:15 p.m.

According to MHP, a 2006 Toyota Camry was traveling north on the interstate when it left the road, collided with an embankment and overturned.

The driver, 24-year-old Kaleb Jackson, was injured. He was pronounced deceased at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
