ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing in Adams County.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said deputies received a call about the incident at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 3. The stabbing happened at a home in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Road.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the suspect and the victim still at the scene. Patten said deputies detained the suspect, 20-year-old Christian Flowers.

The victim, 35-year-old Roy Aljerral Flowers, was taken to Merit Health in Natchez, He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

According to Patten, Christian Flowers has been charged with manslaughter.
