JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed.

The shooting happened in the 300 block of Red Oak Drive on Sunday, February 4. Deputy Chief Sequerna Banks said officers responded to a homicide and aggravated assault at the location.

According to Banks, one of the victims, who was identified as Charles Brown, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
