MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A body was found inside a Madison County home.

Health Hall, with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies responded to the location on Haley Creek Drive on Monday, February 5.

According to Hall, the department received a call from another jurisdiction requesting a welfare check at the home.

A person of interest was taken into custody in another jurisdiction.

The Madison County coroner identified the victim as Lemetrius Hollins, 28. Hollins’ cause of death is still under investigation.
