LINCOLN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 20-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal DUI crash, according to Lincoln County authorities.

The Daily Leader reported the crash happened around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 18 on Pricedale Road.

According to investigators, a 2007 GMC truck ran off of the road and struck a tree.

One male passenger, 18-year-old Titus Holmes, of Bogue Chitto, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other male passengers were injured.

Deputies said the driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Caleb Avants, of Bogue Chitto, was not seriously injured. He was arrested and charged with DUI causing death. Investigators said other charges may be pending.
