RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Officials with Topgolf and the City of Ridgeland broke ground on the company’s first location in Mississippi.
Topgolf will be located off of Interstate 55 in Ridgeland near the Renaissance at Colony Park.
The business will have 60 outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays spanning two levels. Once open, the venue will employ about 200 people.
Ridgeland Mayor Gene McGee said he’s excited about the future development.
“Not only will they provide the venue for entertainment, but because of them being here, it allows us to increase the quality of life for our citizens, which is important. So, it’s exciting not only to see Topgolf come here, but the rest of this development, which is going to be a really positive situation for the entire county region in the state of Mississippi,” he said.

The venue is expected to open by the end of 2024.
