JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man has died after being shot in Jackson early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Belvedere Drive on Wednesday, February 28.

Detectives said the victim, who was identified as Robert Wheatbrook, died from his injuries. They did not release any additional details.
