JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be temporary lane closures on Interstate 20 in Jackson this weekend.

Officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) said the closures till take place from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday March 3.

The center and right lanes of I-20 westbound from Terry Road to W. Highland Drive will be affected. Crews will work to pave this section of I-20.

Drivers are asked to slow down and stay alert for roadside crews.
