WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle in Warren County.

Vicksburg Daily News reported the incident happened on Indiana Avenue on Saturday, March 2.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said the victim, 32-year-old Eugene Windom, of Vicksburg, had left a friend’s house before he was hit by the vehicle.

According to the sheriff, his department asked the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) accident reconstruction team to assist in the investigation.
