JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Metro Booming Training Academy, along with Mac Haik Ford Company, launched a new training program.

Jackson and Hinds County officials attended the announcement for the new training program on Tuesday.

The ACE Training Program will teach people the ins and outs of the automotive and diesel industry. The program aims to stimulate job growth and workforce development for students at Mac Haik Ford and other Ford and Lincoln dealerships.

“This has been brewing about seven or eight months. We’ve been working to work out the kinks when it comes to exactly and identify what each entity will be responsive before. So once we came to a conclusion with that, we were able to come together and understand that the ACE Program is one of the key components that we need to do. Just what the electrical vehicles that are coming out in many different transitions in the automotive world right now. We want to make sure that the students are up to speed and have the best technology and the best equipment they need to be successful in those programs,” explained Richard Bradley, founder and owner of The Jackson Yards.

The Metro Booming Training Academy is open for enrollment.
