VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – Vicksburg police arrested two teenagers in connection to a shooting that happened on Wednesday.
Police said Zaylen Lane, 18, and Alonzo Curtis III, 17, both of Vicksburg, were arrested on Wednesday, March 6. They were both charged with aggravated assault.
The shooting happened just after 2:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Alcorn Drive. The 17-year-old victim was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition.
Both Curtis and Lane appeared in court on Thursday, March 7. They each received a $650,000 bond.
