JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Silver Alert issued for Amego Smiley been canceled. He has been located and is safe, according to MBI.

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Silver Alert has been issued for a 43-year-old Jackson man.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said Amego Smiley was last seen on Wednesday, March 13 around 4:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Rose Street in Hinds County.

Officials said Smiley was last seen driving a brown 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. He was wearing gray joggers, a white sweater with a black stripe and black and white Converse shoes.

Family members said Smiley suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Jackson Police Department (JPD) at 601-960-1234 or 911.
