Two charged in Claiborne County shooting

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Claiborne County deputies arrested two suspects in connection to a shooting.

The shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12 on Evergreen Street.

Deputies said charges were filed against Edtayvion Farmer and Percy Truitt.

Farmer was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, and Truitt was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, drive-by shooting, and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Investigators said both suspects underwent their initial court appearances. Truitt received a $250,000 bond, and Farmer received a $150,000 bond.
