JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi pastor, who was advocating for Medicaid expansion, experienced a medical emergency at the State Capitol on Wednesday.

Organizers said Pastor Darryl Magee was transported to a local hospital. They said he is responsive and doing well.

Magee is the senior pastor at St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in Bolton.
