JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The 41st Annual Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade and Festival will be held on Saturday, March 23.

Organizers said the event will bring people together from all over to enjoy themselves and to celebrate culture.

Yolanda Clay-Moore, with Visit Jackson, said the parade will bring in millions of dollars to the capital city, just like last year.

“It’s a big boost to the economy. We’re looking at about $3.3 million. Last year it was $3.9 million, but we are always, you’re on the side of caution, and we always wait for the final numbers to come in before we, you know, give you a final economic impact. So, that’s the estimated amount, $3.3 million,” Clay-Moore said.

The parade will start at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in downtown Jackson.
