JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 on Highway 80 near the Bel Air Shopping Center.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim is a white male. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The man has not been identified.

Brown said there is no description of the driver or the vehicle involved.
