NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – A Natchez man has been accused of stabbing another man with a tire iron.

The Natchez Democrat reported the incident happened at a home on Weir Court on Saturday, March 23.

Police said 63-year-old David Mitchell got into a fight with the victim and stabbed him with the tire iron twice. The unidentified victim was airlifted to a Jackson hospital. His injuries are non-life threatening.

Investigators said Mitchell faces aggravated assault charges.
