Mississippi man accused of touching a child for lustful purposes

ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Adams County deputies arrested a man for allegedly touching a child for lustful purposes.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Carl Champlin was arrested on Friday, April 12. The arrest stemmed from an investigation made by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.

According to Patten, Champlin was booked into the Adams County Jail and given a $75,000 bond. He said the investigation is still ongoing and more charges may come at a later date.
