JPD: Woman carjacked on Raymond Road

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a woman was carjacked on Sunday, April 21.

The incident happened in the 2000 block of Raymond Road. Detective Tommie Brown said the woman’s white 2023 Chrysler 300 was stolen.

According to Brown, the suspect is described as a Black male who was wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark pants.

The vehicle was later located and recovered by Jackson police from the 2100 block of Wandering Way. Police said the vehicle was not occupied when it was recovered.
