JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – An overturned vehicle caused traffic to backup on an interstate in Jackson.
The crash happened on Interstate 20 West on Monday, April 29.
One man, who helped pull one person out of the vehicle, said two occupants were inside the car. The witness said one person was thrown from the vehicle, and the second was entrapped.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), Jackson police, Jackson firefighters and AMR responded to the scene.
Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department, said two people sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
