WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Texas murder suspect was captured after a manhunt in Warren County.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said Marcus Thompson was captured around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7.

The sheriff said they received a call about a Nissan Altima in the 1000 block of China Grove Road. The vehicle was registered to a homicide victim in Webster, Texas.

According to Pace, authorities searched a wooded area for Thompson before he was captured.
