JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Reports of intimidation and noise complaints have one Jackson couple at their wits end.

John Holt and his wife attended the Jackson City Council meeting on Tuesday to explain what they have endured for the past year. Holt said he’s been harassed by a motorcycle group on multiple occasions.

“They’re a motorcycle gang. They come in on their bikes. They rebel, but they just keep up all kinds of noise. They want to drive us home because they’ve got a club. They don’t want us there,” he said.

Ramond Wall is a member of the Outcast Motorcycle Club. They’re located on the same street at the Holt family. Wall said in September 2023, more than 3,000 bikers were in the area, but they paid for the Holt family to travel to Memphis that weekend to avoid the noise.

“I mean, we can’t help our motorcycles are loud. You know, Harley Davidson is a loud motorcycle. We can’t help them. And we talk to them. We work with them. I mean, I don’t know what else to say about it. It’s just this ongoing thing,” Wal said.

Holt said his wife is ill, and they just want peace in the area.

“We’ve worked all our life to pay for what little we might not be a lot to some people, but it’s all we got. It’s all we have,” he said.

Holt said he’s called Jackson police on several occasions.

“So, we’re going to deal with it. We’re going to communicate with him and also communicate with who owns that business and see what they’re doing and what they’re not doing. If they’re not in compliance, we’re going to ask them to shut it down, or we’re going to take some type of action to shut it down. It may be that it’s a nuisance to that area, to that neighborhood,” said Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade.

The motorcycle club has been at the location for a little more than a year. Wall said they have a permit to operate at the location, but they may have to consider relocating if the situation worsens.
