LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The storm damage in Mississippi is pretty widespread, but some areas, like Lawrence County, were hit hard.

A tree fell on a family’s home on Robert Tynes Road, sending one of them to the hospital on Monday. They said the storm hit the area around 4:00 a.m.

Five people were inside the home when the tree fell. One of the family members was sent to Children’s of Mississippi in Jackson after the tree landed on top of them.
