JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One man was killed during a shooting at a Jackson gas station.

The shooting happened at the Shell gas station in the 3600 block of West Northside Drive near Medgar Evers Boulevard on Friday, May 17.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was identified as Joshua Bennet. He also said a suspect was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting. The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Bobby Jones. He has been charged with murder.
