Suspects wanted for firing shots into Masonic Temple in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are working to find the suspects who fired shots into the Masonic Temple on John R. Lynch Street.

The incident happened around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

Police said surveillance video showed a light-colored, full-sized SUV driving by the building as the occupants fired multiple shots into it. The vehicle was possibly a GMC Tahoe.

Detective Tommie Brown said officers recovered several shell casings at the scene from a small caliber semi-automatic handgun. The suspects have not been identified.
