JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after two men were shot while walking to a store.

Detective Tommie Brown said the shooting happened in the 5300 block of Clair Street on Sunday, May 26.

Brown said the 19-year-old victim was shot in the neck and the arm. The 22-year-old victim was shot in the shoulder.

The victims told officers they did not know who shot them or why. They were both transported to the hospital for treatment. The two were in stable condition, according to Brown.
