JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a 43-year-old man was shot and killed at the M&M Mini-Mart.

The shooting happened at the business, located in the 300 block of Lindsey Drive, just after 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28.

Jackson police said the victim, Damien Johnson, was found deceased at the scene. He had been shot multiple times.

Investigators have not released any additional information about a possible suspect or motive in the case.
