Three wanted in Jackson after child injured during armed robbery

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for three suspects in connection to an armed robbery that injured a child.

The incident happened in the 3600 block of Jayne Avenue on Saturday, June 1.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victims were approached by three men who robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects were driving a black four-door vehicle, believed to be a Chrysler 200.

Brown said the suspects stole the victims’ white 2006 Chevy Impala. The tag number for the vehicle is HPU 633.

According to police, a child was injured during the incident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
