BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – A suspect was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Rankin County.

The shooting happened around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2 at a residence in the 200 block of Circle Drive East.

Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey said a 36-year-old man was killed during the shooting. He said a female victim was located at a business nearby the home. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Bailey said the suspect, Seth Tyler Wilder, was booked into the Rankin County Jail and charged with murder. His bond was set at $1 million.
